MARKET WELCOMES NEW SYSTEM TO REDUCE PARTICULATE EMISSIONS
Hydrox Solutions Ltd, which specialises in engine emission reduction, has launched its revolutionary hydrogen-on-demand device. Called the ‘Eliminator’ this device has been proven to reduce carcinogenic particulate emissions by 22% making it one of the most effective systems currently on the market.
The success of this system is largely due to the engineers at Hydrox Solutions developing a unique and sophisticated electronic control system. This ensures the efficient and reliable running of the device with minimal maintenance over extended periods.
Present solutions to reduce particulate emissions are achieved by exhaust filtration; collecting particulates in a filter until full, at which point the engine management system instructs it to inject more fuel into the system to burn off the contents into the atmosphere at high temperature. Evidence has shown that such particulate filters are not working and in fact can cause an engine serious damage. More importantly, despite the introduction of low emission zones, the air quality of many UK cities is still being cited as “breaching safety guidelines” by the World Health Organisation, the major culprit being motor vehicles.
Over the last 5 years Hydrox Solutions has developed the device to a point where it can be easily retro-fitted and scaled to any diesel engine, regardless of size.
Following extensive testing at the UK Government recognised Millbrook testing facility the device was proven to reduce carcinogenic particulate emissions from an already-efficient euro 5-diesel truck engine by a consistent and repeatable 22%.
